We are incredibly happy and grateful to announce that ED Robotics has been awarded a SEK 50,000 grant from the Syskonen Inger och Sixten Norheds Foundation — a fantastic recognition following our trip to FRC Orlando.

We're home again after a truly amazing week in Orlando. Here's the recap of the trip, the competition, and everything that happened off the field.

We're proud and excited to share big news: ED Robotics is now officially registered to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition in the USA. In March, our team travels to Orlando, Florida, to compete in one of the world's largest and most prestigious robotics competitions.

It is with sadness that we have received the news of Fredrik Löfgren's passing. Fredrik did so much — the context in which we got to meet him is one of his countless commitments to young people and their development, RoboCup Junior. It was our first robotics competition, an important milestone and a fantastic experience.

At the end of the school year, one of the year's most anticipated events took place: the Erik Dahlberg Robotics Competition, EDRC2024. The competition brought together 64 enthusiastic first-year students for a day full of innovation and creativity.

In March, ED Robotics competed in the prestigious American First Robotics Competition. As the only Swedish team, this was an impressive achievement. The adventure began with packing our beloved robot into several bags and flying from Kastrup to Newark.

ED Robotics is about to make a big impression on the international stage. Soon it's off to Albany, New York, to take part in the world's biggest robotics competition, First Robotics Competition. The club has been working intensively over the past months to build and fine-tune its latest robot.
