ED Robotics is officially registered for FRC in the USA
We're proud and excited to share big news: ED Robotics is now officially registered to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition in the USA. In March, our team travels to Orlando, Florida, to compete in one of the world's largest and most prestigious robotics competitions for young engineers.

FIRST Robotics Competition, often shortened to FRC, brings together upper secondary school teams from around the world in an intense engineering challenge where students work the way industry engineering teams do. Over a period of just 55 days, teams must design, build, and program an advanced competition robot from scratch. It's a process full of creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration, where every day counts and development moves fast.
For our students, this is an opportunity that reaches far beyond the competition itself. Representing Sweden on an international stage means new experiences, meeting teams from all over the world, and a chance to develop both technical skills and confidence. Through ED Robotics, students get hands-on experience with mechanics, programming, electronics, and project management – but also teamwork, communication, and responsibility.
At the same time, it's a major undertaking. Competing in FRC involves significant costs for entry fees, materials and components, travel and lodging, and tools and safety equipment. That's why we're deeply grateful to everyone who supports us and helps make this trip possible. Every contribution and every partner makes a difference, and together we can give young talents the chance to compete on the world stage.
We're now entering an intense period where we'll both finish the robot and prepare for the trip. We look forward to sharing our journey to Orlando here on the blog and on our social media.
